Tons of energy here....decided to do something different on the wide-grip deadlifts and went for a widowmaker at 285...was surpisingly easy for the first 16 or so reps. Maybe I'll try 300 next week...

Good session, back to 285 on benching, and followed with a cluster at 250...enjoying paternity leave, doing more volume on sessions...
Nice session, good weather so I started doing broad jumps...went pretty well for a first-of-spring session.
First full-body session post-baby, was a tad bit full here for some reason, strength is still there, which is good. I'm sleeping great, the baby isn't too disturbing, just wakes up maybe twice per night for a few minutes of eating and changing, then it's back to sleep. Did some arm stuff for fun, and extra ab stuff as well.
The air was cool and thick and wet. I hate running in conditions like this, but it's great for future sessions when the air quality improves...first longer session of the season, was sore after!
Good session here as well, feeling really great. Baby still sleeping awesome, only wakes up like once per night.

The baby sleeps remarkably well, and I am feeling pretty good, so it's back to working out for me! Narrowly missed 285 here, but otherwise I feel strong.

Last workout pre-baby...Wendy went into labor this evening....what a wonderful day. The baby was born on May 13th, Wendy's birthday...what a wonderful wonderful day. My wonderful baby.

Really good session here; haven't done broad jumping in a while, going to ramp back up on these now.
Getting close to baby time....probably last full body workout before the baby is here...puts me in a retrospective mood. I always wondered if I'd still be working out when I had kids. Of course that was when I was like 20, and had no clue what I would end up trying to achieve. Still, it's an end of an era in my personal life, and I look forward to meeting the challenge of this new one. I am curious to see how sleep is impacted, and also to share a love of fitness with my daughter.

Back is pretty sore here, or fatigued I should say....looking forward to the baby being here so I can take a session off and hopefully rest up. Tried 30 second pullups here, really challenging, but enjoyable.

Mixed it up a bit here, lower weight on deadlifts, with a cluster of singles...got 160 again on hanging power snatches....
